Becky Blaylock Clinton

After graduation I attended one year of secretary school in Spokane, Washington, where I met and married a man with a military career which has taken me around the world. We have lived in Washington state two different times, California, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Japan, Germany (here for the second time), exotic locales like Alabama, and even one year back in Nyssa with a brand new baby while Bob served a year at a remote radar site in Korea.

We have built our retirement home in Logan, Utah, and after 11 years in Germany moved there for good in 2015.

Except for a few administrative positions, I've been able to be at home with my children at their crossroads, and support my husband's career, which is something I don't regret a bit. The payoff is great! In Germany as an empty nester I was able to volunteer as a seminary teacher for five years. It cramped the traveling agenda a little but we were still able to see some fun stuff while living there.

The last three years I have worked at a terrific antique mall. I'm like an alcoholic in a liquor store. Now that I myself am vintage I have developed a deep appreciation for all things old.

Mr. Mendezona's Biology II class, April Fools Day. Mendezona left the room - smoke break - we totally whited out the chalk boards except for a message to the next hour's class to meet out on the bleachers of the football field. Those of us that had our next hour's class in "a room with a view" watched as he led the poor lost lambs back to class. Hilarious!!
