In Memory

Michael Nolan

Michael Nolan

On November 17, 2020, Michael S. Nolan, 76, passed away after being hospitalized due to Covid-19. He was married to the love of his life Mary Jo (nee O’Donnell) and was stepfather to the Maloney clan whom he adored, including Terry, Kevin (Therese), Michael, Maureen Montesinos (Rafael) and Therese. He was the fond brother of George (Barb) Nolan, Judy (Chuck Saul), Kathy (Jim) Cashin and John (DeDe) Nolan. He was a loving grandfather and was also known as the ‘fun (sometimes crazy) Uncle’ to many nieces and nephews.

After OPRF Mike attended Washburn Trade School to complete his culinary degree and successfully ran his catering business A Matter of Taste for years. He is especially known for his widespread friendships and the ability to bring smiles and laughter to everyone he knew. He loved sports but, even more, loved to take Mary Jo to watch whatever sport their grandson and great nieces and nephews were involved in.  His kind heart was evident - if a friend in one state was crying on the phone Tuesday night, Mike was often at their door on Wednesday. He will be greatly missed.

Judy
