I moved to Portland, OR, in 2010 because it has a better health system.
I contracted the HIV virus in 2008.
I am completely covered for my medications and doctors visits.
I eat healthy and try to stay out of trouble.
I have not seen my son since 2002 and I don't know if he is well or not.
But I have come to terms with not being in his life.
I have had many jobs and now am currently unemployed.
Looking to work in the HIV/AIDS field in Care-giving and Nursing.
Where I feel I will be of most help.

Here's the deal, I was a loner most of the time unless the boys were relentlessly calling me names and jeering at me. I had low self esteem and low self image, but it didn't keep me from joining the choir and doing the school plays. I had a few very close friends but the majority of my years in school since grade-school has been difficult and hard to bear. With all that behind me.
I have great friends, I enjoy my life, I am happy and I love myself. I have a gift of nurture and care that brings happiness to those around me I wouldn't trade my school life for anything. For it taught me that no matter the cost I am worth being. I can't hurt others for I know how it feels and all I can do understand where bothers come from because I have been there.
I hope we have a 20th anniversary because I just might come.
