On the evening of April 23, 2022, Sherry June Meibos our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, Friend, and Daughter of God passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Sherry was 78 years old.

Sherry married her sweetheart Ray Meibos on August 6, 1965 in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple.

Sherry graduated from Ben Lomond High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Utah State University. Her lifelong dream was to become a teacher. She was a dedicated English teacher at Highland and Sunset Junior High schools for 44 years. Her favorite subjects to teach were grammar and Shakespeare. A highlight of the school year was her annual Shakespeare production.

Sherry was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She held several callings throughout her life, teaching Gospel Doctrine was her favorite.

Sherry has always been the biggest fan of her family by attending many ball games, rodeos, and dance recitals. She was a constant caregiver to all and a loyal friend to many. Some of her favorite times were holding large family gatherings, shopping, bowling, softball, golf, ball trips with softball friends, her annual trip to the Shakespeare Festival, and most of all being a mother and grandma. Roast, mashed potatoes, and “Grandma Cake” were a big part of family gatherings.
