David Lee Brewer '81

Has a new book to be released October 31, 2016. David was Beyonce’s voice teacher and lived with the Knowles family and taught her for more than eleven years. Beyoncé: Raising Genius delivers profound insights into the music business and his life with the icon, revealing her true path to fame. While dispelling many widely believed myths, Brewer tells the captivating stories that no one else can, or will. In balanced and sensitive language—with humor and with compassion—he reveals a beautiful young, talented girl who was guided to super-stardom at an incredible cost to herself and everyone around her. Amazon.

"Thank you for putting me in touch with the finder of my ring. It is hard to believe that after 36 years that the ring would literally surfaced. I lost the ring in the spring of '80, when several of us went to a lake for some fun on the water. I was in a canoe that had flipped over, and while trying to flip it back to right side up, my ring got caught on the lip and was pulled from my finger. Never to be seen again, at least so I thought."
