After high school I went right into the working field, at McCarthy Chevrolet, then on to Nye Ford were I was Mr. Nye's secretary for 15 years. After Dennis was born I decided to work with a school system in the city of Oneida, I am now working at the elementary school which I went to when I was little. Married Tom Laurin in June of 1972, have lived in Oneida all our life. Tom was the Fire Chief in Oneida until retirement in 2004. We have a mobile home which we just purchased on the St. Lawrence River and spend many of our weekends there, boating and fishing. It is a beautiful place to relax and just have fun. We hope to make it a semi-retirement home in the next couple of years.
I am retired now and spend many hours sitting in the boat on the St. Lawrence River, in Clayton, NY. We have a mobile home in a beautiful park that looks right out to the river and the main channel is in front of us. The big ships and freighters pass right by. In the winter spend time traveling to visit my son who is stationed in the Navy at NAS Jacks , lives there with his wife and two adorable grandsons. He is a Navy Flight Pilot and is making a career out of the Navy. Very proud of his accomplishments. Other son Dennis is still home and working for the City of Oneida at the WWTP. Also proud of him
