Well, what have I been doing for the past 40 years? I graduated from Eisenhower College in '72, married a college classmate in '73 and had two daughters. I lived in Syracuse for a couple years, New Jersey for 13 years, a couple years in PA, 17 years in Westlake, Ohio (outside Cleveland) and then moved to Arizona. My oldest daughter, lives in Tucson with her husband and two children. And my youngest daughter just graduated from Ashland University in Ohio with a degree in Education and lives in Amherst, Ohio. She is engaged to an air traffic controller and they will be getting married in June '09.
I have been married twice. My first husband and I divorced after 20 years of marriage. I remained single for 10 years and then 5 years ago I married my current husband.
While living in Ohio I started a career in retail management working for American Eagle Outfitters, Pier One Imports and Northern Reflections. After Northern Reflections closed their stores in the U.S., I started a new carrer in social services as a manager working with people with disabilities. Then after moving to AZ I started an Ebay business from my home.
The loves of my life are my two grandchildren, Vito,2,& Sophia, 6 months. My little Vito looks Irish with his red hair and fair complexion. I call him the "Little Professor" because he wears eyeglasses and spends the majority of his day learning to read. Sophia has big blue eyes, smiles constantly and is such a joyful baby.
My husband and I live in an over 55 community in beautiful Sahuarita, AZ (just south of Tucson). We took a leap of faith 3 years ago when we quit our jobs and moved out here. We love it here and have no regrets, only wish we had made the move sooner.
