Shanna Byrd

I graduated in 1997. After that, I went on to OCTC b/c quite frankly my world was upside down from losing my hearing. I finally graduated Tech in 2002 with an Associate in Business. I DID NOT FLUNK! I couldn't make up my mind what to do. I started at First National Bank in 2000 and am still there (currently SCBT). I love my job! I head the Research department for all branches in SC and NC.

Got married in 2006 to the WRONG man so that didn't last long! I am quite happy now-alone! lol I will meet Mr. Right when God sends him way!

I have had several more tumors removed, but am wonderful! It takes more than that to knock me down! God gave me a wonderful family and great friends to help me through it. The strength He has blessed me with is awesome! I am surviving it! Am healthy and stable now! whoo hoo!

oh whew! I have a lot of memories. Ya'll saw me go thru it all and that was just the tip of iceberg! How great ya'll we after my hearing loss in 1996 will never be forgotten!!

I miss yearbook class the most!

Favorire memory and I laugh everytime! Freshman year, me and Tara (Black) walking past the bus ramp and one backfired! Sounded like a gunshot! ha! (yall remember our first days there! lol) I jumped behind her- now that is wrong! I should have got in front! Oops! I love u Tara!!
