Ahmed "Gene" Hymore

Ahmed "Gene" Hymore, age 63, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2005, in his Sylvania residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 14, 1942, in LaBada County, West Virginia to Albert and Bessie Hymore. He proudly served in the United States Army Reserve for six years. He enjoyed bowling and took many hunting and fishing trips with his brothers, son, and nephews. He worked for Sinclair Manufacturing for twenty-six years and was shift supervisor at Johnson Controls for sixteen years. Gene loved traveling and spending time with his friends and family. 
He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Cheryl; sons, Gary (JoAnn) Hymore, James Cole and his daughters, Shelly Healy, Sharon (David) Abbuhl, Dawn (Scott) Wendel, Krystie Hymore, Heather Hymore, his grandchildren, Amanda, Nichole, Rachel, Justin, Samantha, Jonathan, Joshua, Kyle, and Ashton; his sisters, Sylvia Carter and Virginia Kline; brothers, Frank (Pat) Hymore and Ronald (Sherry) Hymore, John (Joyce) Hymore, Al (Shirley) Hymore; brother-in-law, Gary (Barbara) Knowles; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Ahmed was preceded in death by his father and mother and eight other siblings. 
Friends and family may visit Friday, July 22, 2005, from 3:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main Street, Sylvania, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
