I graduated from St. Olaf College Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Biology. I then went to the University of Minnesota for my Doctorate in Medicine. Since completing my residency, I have worked as an Emergency Physician with Fairview. I am also Chief of Staff-Elect, Ethics Committee Chair, and Medical Director of Cardiac Rehab at Fairview Lakes Medical Center.. I am raising two boys, and spend my free time running, riding motorcycles, traveling and kayaking. My kids and I enjoy Ultimate Frisbee and ATV riding together. I still listen to rock and have served as consulting physician for many touring bands and promoters. This perk has given me many back stage passes over the last 15 plus years allowing me access to some of my childhood favorites like Aerosmith, the Eagles and Kiss, as well as keeping me current with new acts like Mastodon, Opeth and Seether. I am lucky to be healthy and surrounded by family and friends. "Life has been good to me so far!"
