Comments:

I attended KU after SMS, and graduated with a BS in Journalism. A few years later I got an MBA from Baker University while I was working in the convention publishing industry. After 19 years of that, I retired from an executive position about 5 years ago to help my husband grow his pest control company. I'm actually certified as a pest control technician, but I only handle animal trapping. My main responsibility is running the office. I never dreamed I'd be doing something like this. I don't like bugs so this whole thing is very amusing! But it's much less stressful than my publishing career so it's been a positive change for all of us. I'm still singing when I can and am currently the assistant director for the Johnson County Community Chorus at JCCC. Melissa is in Brownies so I've been a Girl Scout Leader the past three years. We all like to travel so we take advantage of that as much as we can. Rick, Melinda and I are all certified in scuba so we usually choose a dive destination. When we're home, I enjoy gardening (the flower part - not the weeding!) and spending time with friends.

School Story:

I have so many happy memories from high school and I cherish the friendships we've been able to keep over the years.
