I graduated from nursing school in 1991 and have been a nurse consultant for the past 10 years. I go into nursing homes several times a month and assist them with state and federal regulatory compliance. I also monitor the quality of care, provide recommendations for improvement, etc.

I also write and teach training programs for Directors of Nursing.

I travel way too much.....116,000+ miles in 2 years, but I do love my job.

I bought my first house in Weleetka, OK about 2 years ago and enjoy working on it.

When I'm not working (when is that?!) I enjoy drawing, pottery, reading, making quilts, spending time with my wonderful boyfriend, Eric.

I love to travel and was able to go back to Europe 5 years ago and teach Conversational English in Poland for a month.....wonderful trip!

I came to Owasso from a private school in the 9th grade and spent almost the first year in culture shock. Much different world that what I was accustom to.

For the most part I was pretty quiet in school...had a few close friends, but didn't really "enjoy" my high school years. Not sure why....just a different environment for me. I did, however, care about all I went to school with and hope that you all are doing very well.

I am shocked at how bad my memory is from that time!

I do wish from time to time that I had gotten more involved in school, but outside of school I was very active with my private school friends and church. Good memories, but wish I had more from Owasso!

Anyone up for a do-over?! :O)
