Our quarterly dinner will be held on November 3,2018 at 6pm at Pastina Rustic Italian Restaurant, located at 9354 Mentor Ave #1 in Mentor. Please let us know if you will be attending as we need to tell them the number of our attendees. All drinks and meals are on your own. Here's a link to the restaurant and their menu: Please join us by registering at the link to the left!

All the mementos are in the mail to our classmates for whom we have addresses. If you do not recieve yours within a day or two, please contact us! For those who have been waiting, and those who want to review their answers, the 50th Reunion Quiz is posted there on the left column. Click on it to see how well you remembered! Enjoy!

I just want to thank the reunion committee for all their great work. Yesterday I received my reunion “souvenir packet” in the mail. Although I could only answer a few of the questions on the quiz, having those items along with seeing all the pictures that have been posted to this site make me almost feel as if I had been there in person. Thanks again, and best wishes to the entire class! David Ekstrom

Reunion Mementos for Everyone! In planning the reunion, the committee knew not everyone could attend the Saturday night event and planned ahead. The committee is mailing to every classmate for whom we have an address an envelope with a variety of mementos from the reunion. The first batch went out today to classmates on the north and central east coast. With luck, the next batch will be to folks in all the other states except Ohio and will go out the Tuesday after Labor Day. And the Ohio classmates mailing will happen within the week thereafter. If you were not at the Saturday dinner and we have your address, look for the envelope in the mail and know we were thinking about you!

Wow! The 50th Reunion was fantastic! '68 Rules!!

Thanks to everyone who was able to attend for making it memorable. It was wonderful to meet everyone again! And for those who could not attend -- we toasted you, we toasted our classmates who have passed, and we toasted our teachers!

Over the next weeks, we will be posting pictures and more in the "50th Reunion Photos" tab there on the left side of the page. Everyone who has pictures can start their own gallery in the appropriate place, and while administrators (me and Dave Alban) have to approve before the photos become public, that will happen quickly.

The next official events are listed below, so watch for further information.

  • November 2, 2018, 6 p.m.: Quarterly Dinner, location TBA
  • February 2, 2019, 6 p.m.: Quarterly Dinner, location TBA
  • May 4, 2019, 6 p.m.: Quarterly Dinner, location TBA
  • August 3, 2019, 1 p.m.: Annual Picnic, Lake Shore Reservation

And if classmates from out of town do come back to visit, please let us know. We love to have a lunch or dinner gathering at any time!

For Throwback Thursday, click on "Graduation Day 1968" in the left column and watch a video of the class breakfast and graduation ceremony. Thanks to Connie McFarren Stokes and Tom Strong for saving it all these years!

Hello classmates of Riverside High School class of 1968. This is a new location for our class listings and information, including forthcoming information about our upcoming 50th reunion August 10-12, 2018.

The class list has been imported and is based on records kept by Ruth Tenney Sprowls from the 40th Reunion, and updated as committee members identify new information. Class photos for the 1968 Beavers Tale have been uploaded. Some names do not have photos and we are searching for something appropriate.

Now we need everyone to log in to participate. Help us find remaining class members as we prepare for the 50th Reunion!

The first thing to do is read the "First Time Visitors" section by clicking on the link in the top row. Many of your questions about privacy and more will be answered there.

Next, pay your respects to our fellow classmates who have passed away in the "In Memory" section. Let us know if we have missed anyone so we can honor them.

Third, find your name on the "Classmate Profiles" section again by clicking on the link on the top row. When you find yourself, click in and register your information. Again, those pages will have information about privacy, etc.

If you do not want to be listed here or ever contacted by your classmates, please write me on the "Contact Me" page and let me know. I will delete your name and all related information from the list. If you don't mind your name and photo being here, but don't want to be contacted by anyone, just remove your email and other contact information from your profile details.

Finally, please reach out to classmates you know and urge them to come and register here. We are missing some classmembers and want to have as many people included as possible. Also, if you see any ommissions or names that need correction, please let me know.
