I will always regret being unkind to a new boy from Germany who was in our 8th grade homeroom class at Jordan.
As a new kid, wilfred really needed a friend and all I gave him grief about being German. That experience has had a life long effect on me and has helped me to overcome inclinations to be less than kind to people. I still have miles to go but at least the awareness is always with me as I bumble along. Bless you Wilfred. My humble apologies.
Rick, I feel the same way. I "second" the apology. We were too young to realize the pain and suffering we caused some people. Wilfred was too smart for all of us. We didn't leave him an option. I am very sorry.
