Vince was one of my best friends at PHS. We were both perfectionists in our school work, and likely pushed each other to greater accomplishments. I lost contact with Vince after our college years, he at West Texas State and I at Texas Tech. I learned from his mother in 1993, when she visited my mother in Pampa, that Vince had died of a brain tumor. This news so surprised me that I sadly did not ask where or when he died. I have not been able to find his obituary.
