I moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1979 direct from Panama and have resided here since then. I have two lovely daughters, Jeiña and Ianthe, 27 and 22, respectively. Jeiña is studying Vocal Performance with a minor in Spanish at Texas Southern University in Houston, and Ianthe recently graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA with a BA in Psychology and is currently teaching ESL in Shenzhen, china (she's on a 1-yr assignment).
I am the owner of Virtualosity (I'm a Virtual Asssitant) and enjoy the freedom that gives me.
Right now, I'm focused on serving my Lord and Savior, JC, and putting him first in my life! To that end, I'm a member of the Jubilant Voices Gospel choir at Holman United Methodist Church in L.A., as well as a member of In HIS Steps dance ministry, giving praise to God through dance.
One of my favorite hobbies is paper crafting (todo lo que aprendí en la clase de Educación Artística). You can check out my blog via the link above.
School Story:
I hold a B.A. in Linguistics & French from UCLA and a Masters in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. I'm also a graduate of AssistU, where I received my certification as a trained Virtual Assistant. My memories at school are many, but I especially miss los Moscotistas (class of '77) (Carlos Bocker, Aristides Wilson, Osvaldo Ríos & Daniel Hunt) y las Moscotistas (myself, Joan, Gilma & Stephanie).
