Geri and I became friends in high school, as she attended Alondra Jr. High and I attended Paramount Jr. High. She and I were part of a group of kids who had lunch together, went to the football games together and went to parties together. We both lost our fathers in high school. She was a lot of fun and a valued friend in school.
I'm so sorry about her illness and subsequent death.
