Paul lived down the street from me. I had him in several elementary school classes. I have some good and not so good memories. When we were in 3rd grade he would bully me and that was scary. Once, during sharing time, he told us about his trip to Hawaii, showed us photos and a hula doll. In those days, few people got to go to Hawaii. By the time we got to 8th grade we were "cool". By 11th grade were would talk on a regular bases. He was in Mr. Myetas class, along with Ron Dumphy and a few other "jokers". Paul usually had some funny stuff to say that would crack us up and Mr Myeta would get upset with us. Paul had a way of doing stuff that would get the rest of us in trouble. I remember the time that he and his dad picked me up and took me to the Awards Banquet. I was sorry to see him get into drugs. I thought that he had a lot of ability and potential.Mark Overstreet
