Would have NO idea where to begin. LOL!
After graduation, lived in L.A. and Las Vegas before moving back Hot Springs to work at "Machine Gun News" magazine.
Started a career in law enforcement at Malvern PD. Quickly loaned out to State Police forming the Group 6 NEU (narcotics enforcement unit). Switched departments in 2000 and retired from Little Rock Police Dept in August, 2015. Diagnosed with a rare blood cancer 5/15/13, allogenic bone marrow transplant on 2/25/14 in Houston at MD Anderson (where me & my husband lived for 6 months). Micah Green joined me on my first 5K just six months after my transplant and we continued supporting each other until her death. I now am an ambassador for BE THE MATCH bone marrow registry and serve on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man & Woman of the year committee. I have chronic GVHD from my transplant therefore, I'm still on immunosuppressants. Hopefully that will change but not likely. I'm flying my donor & her sister to NYC during NYE where me & my husband will finally get to meet the girl that saved my life. That is the extremely short version but do plan to start a book next year. Right now I'm just enjoying life.
