While Gary attended 3 years of prerequisites and 4 years of chiropractic college, I started my design career at Gevurtz Contemporary Furniture for 12 years, before starting my own design firm. As a charter member Of NWSID, North West Society of Interior designers, I enjoyed a wonderful career assisting families create an environment that functioned. Mostly remodels and new construction.
A few special design projects being designer on the North Plains Library, remodel of the new addition on Portland Christian Center, 1988 and 1989 Street of Dreams.
Gary retired his practice in 2009 and I'm slowly closing my business.
I love to travel, while Gary stays home with the Dobermans we have rescued for the last 20 years. This is his choice, as he hates planes and playing Crinkle Fender with people in crowed areas! But I got him to Maui last fall to Celebrate our 52nd Anniversary. He will have his 1st knee replacement June 24, 2014 with the second following about 6-8 weeks after. Life has not been what either if us had planned when we were in high school. But we are very pleased how everything unfolded! Smiles, GJ and CJ

Both enjoying retirement, vacationing in hospitals! Gary had both replaced last year and doing fine. Arthritis is his companion most days. Chiropracting was hard on hands, knees and back. Carole had two bones removed from spine that were compressing spinal cord. Both working out to get back in shape. The problem seems to be, the shape we are getting back to, are markedly different! Grandson, Max graduated from U of O end of last year in primary education and is going for his masters now. We adopted a 6lb. 7 oz. 3 footed poodle mix and are testing her to become therapy dog. Can't believe these two old *****, sit around laughing half the day at her personality antics! Not sure when the next reunumion is, but we'd love more sitting around and socializing.
