In a couple of months I will be an empty nester. I've been a single Mom for many years. It's been both challenging and rewarding. Of course, that is parenthood, in general, and certainly not unique in that I'm a single Mom. I am feeling pretty emotional about it, yet am looking forward to some time for myself. I'm starting my bucket list almost as soon as they are settled in at college. I will be taking a vacation with my dear, lifelong friend in September. We have talked about traveling together for years and now I finally can! He was my date to our Jr. Prom. Lol.

Simple: just getting to go to a small high school. Knowing all the same people from Kindergarten, all the way through. Living in the city now, I really have an appreciation for that. Senior Skip Day and parties at the drive-through gravel pits. (I would die if my children did that!).

No updates required. These are still my favorite memories! And, things I'm still thankful for.

Finish my degree. I am a nurse and love my job, but never finished my BSN. Travel everywhere!

Update: I will soon be finishing my degree. My employer now pays for it, in full, and my kids will be in college, so I have run out of excuses. Back to the books.

I have been engaged twice since my divorce many years ago. But, the good Lord just keeps me waiting on his plan for me. Haha

My parents live in Piggott. They have now been married 65 years! My big sis, Patsy, and her husband, Ken live in Greenway. (in the old Don and Georgia's western store).
