Christine Paul Day

After graduating form Stokes, I attended Livingston University and earned a teaching degree. I then attended Auburn University, where I earned a Master's Degree in Special Education. I taught one year at Phenix City Middle School near Auburn. Since then I have been teaching in the Hale County School System. I met and married my husband, Philip, in 1994. I have since birthed three beautiful children and reside in the big city of Akron, AL.

I have so many fond memories, I couldn't possibly choose a favorite. I will never forget being beaten in the spelling bee by John Mark because I didn't know how to spell beautiful. I also remember my brother, Teddy Paul, putting the sleeper hold on "Little Joe" causing him to pass out in the school yard. As Robin said, Homecoming was always great. I wouldn't trade my years at Stokes Academy.
