Brenda L. Washburn MacFarland

I worked the first year after high school. January of 1985 I went to California, PA and became very homesick for two semesters. Dropped out of college and back to Mt. Lebo. March of 1988 I started working at Lane Bryant in South Hills Village. I really liked my job so much that I enrolled at Duff's Business Institute where I got my degree in business and fashion merchandising. After graduation I got promoted and moved to Johnstown, PA where I meet my husband who was my freight delivery man. It was love at first sight for him; and says to this day that I am going to marry "That Girl"!!!! On July 7, 1995 we eloped to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. We have had our up and downs; but we have two daughters and take awesome vacations to nice places.

I loved the first three years of high school. Friday night football games were the best. Hanging out in the activities office with Mrs. Jones and selling candy, being in various clubs especially AFS and hospitality club. Homeroom with Mr. Smolinski was a good time over the years with Steve Warrick, Jennifer Wall and braiding Gwen Zeichner's hair. Margot Wholey and Renee Wilson I wish would see you again. We always had alot of family problems but we somehow have survived..........
