John & I moved back to Platteville (from Illinois) in 1993.
John owns Weber's Autobody shop just outside of Platteville.
I got my master's degree from UWP in 2002 and was the School Counselor at St. Columbkille Elementary in Dubuque from 8/99 through 2/14. In Feb. of 2014, I took on the role of Program Director for the Dubuque YMCA Reach & Rise Mentoring Program. I left the Y in August 2016 and feel I've found my "home" at Loras College where I supervise elective credit interns and teach two classes.
From 2004-2007 I was a competitive bodybuilder & earned my pro-card in 2005. After 2 years as a pro I retired and currently judge several shows in the area. Since then, I've challenged myself through running a marathon, half marathon, multiple shorter distance races, and numerous mud/obstacle races. I've also tandem skydived and currently hold a 3rd Gup (Brown stripe) Belt in Tang Soo Do.
My 2 youngest son's and I spent all summer, every summer, at Lake Lucerne in Crandon, Wisconsin. Until 2013, the 3 of us were involved in the local waterski club & the boys are successful competitive barefoot skiers. I continue to volunteer with the club as a spotter in the Triple Rig. Love it!
God has certainly blessed me and I am grateful to Him for that!
