Tamara Dobbins Milam

This mid-life crisis is a blast. I am surrounded by the vibe of the next generation. I don't know how many teenagers go to this college.I have been a hairdesigner for twenty-four yrs. I use to work at Obsessoins Hair Moda in PC formerly Salon Deseree', formerly Lion and Lioness. My most recent hair job was manager for a Sports Clips in Indianapolis. Since then I have traveled and worked in 5 dif. states. Once a drunkin' state, now SOBER. I have done hair and makeup for the Broadway musical Joseph and the multi-techno- colored Dream Coat. After graduation I went to NewYork and got into some trouble with Lori Watson "84". Mom jumped a plane & recovered me from my stupidity. I got married, I got divorced, I got married,divorced, ya see where I'm going with this. Then I got a life. Currently I am a Psyc. Major w/ a music business minor. I attend a private christian university and live 5min. away Any way, I am having a blast getting reaquainted with my friends. I know a trip to FLA is on the way. I sold the recycling facility and I need a vacation.I am leaving for `NAWLINS March 12th 2010. I will be performing a blues act, Resurection of Janice Joplin, Location TBA, possibly Howlin' Wolf. ( Well the trip was great I performed at Club Bourbon on March 14th, 8:00 p.m. AND MET THE SUES CHEF FROM EMMERIL-One of Emmeril Lagosse's fine resturants). I am FINISHED WITH MY 7th semester of college and very much looking forward to grad school. I found my strength is in stats so bring on the lab research.yeah boey. I could incorperate Blues Recordings, my project, working and in the making. I recently found out I am a contra alto, along way from saprano, and I enjoy singing in smokee blues bars. Probably a good thing I waited to grow up to seek this venture. I am a big Etta James fAN and and have been for a good 15yrs. I look dead straight like Janice in some pics. I have performed in New Orleans as well as watched Etta on Stage at the House of Blues. I am in the process of recording a blues volume with my friend Kriss Glover, a great guitar player who once opened for good ole Ted Nuggent. So times are strange and my life is changing fast. Use to just do hair ya know.

It all was so funny. Everything me and my friends did. Don Massolio got the wrong chips and I dug a bucket of rocks from the football stadium before it was built, the priciple caught me cussin' Don. What was in the woods behind the school during earth science? I'll never tell.Behind the GYM. OH GOD!!! I'll never tell that either. We had a great principle, before Doofy, he knew. I refused to go to college the year I began untill I got to ride on the Mississippi Queen. My heart goes out to all the children of New Orleans and I will work very hard to obtain the degree I need to help the youth of New Orleans restore their minds and help them become a productive future for the Cresent City. The Walker twins yea I married their cousin in 12th grade SO WHAT! SOWHAT a lot of it. That freashman class the year I graduated rocked. Made me wish I could start all over at PC or fail the last year. sometimes I BELIEVED i TRIED. Can't you tell, I wuz confussed. Ya'all have a good one. Believe me I do!! Just one more thing Ms. Widmyer please return my torn out page of that Michigan State football player that became my 10th grade science teacher. I never got that back after teacher 's lounge circulation. OH YES! I don't want to forget to let everyone know I finally took acting in College and made a "B" with no prior experience and ten days absent. GLORY!!!!
