I went to the University of San Diego. I went there with out ever seeing it because on the school information it looked like it was right next door to Sea World. I got a job at Sea World my Senior year, favorite job ever!!!!! I had wanted to work there since I was 7.
Did a year of volunteer work teaching in Jersey City NJ then taught at Central for 3 years. I met my wonderful husband Matt and he stole me away from Portland. He was military. I taught two more years then started our family.

Kayaking, hiking, running, cooking, gardening, snowboarding, and scuba diving.

Teaching there for 3 years and working on Search Retreats.

Once a year or more. We have gotten lucky and my kids think that if we are going to Portland we have to have our swim suits. Boy are they in for a surprise if we ever move back.

I wanted to be a marine biologist. Half way through college I realized I wanted to teach. I can remember sitting in Sister Parker's boi class and thinking, "You do not want to spend the rest of your life sitting in this classroom. Guess what, 6 years later I was teaching Central kids in that same room!! Life is crazy.

I would run cross country, play more music and get rid of my permed hair.

Lots! Australia, Hawaii, ABC Islands, Mass., Vermont, Maine, and lots more.

New Zealand, I tried to find Mike Cameron at a reasearch center while I was there. He had just left two weeks prior. Crazy.

My daughter says healthy and organic. She is a little upset with changes we have been making. I hope to be making a difference where ever I am and still being active. I will be due to do another marathon by then.
