Teddy (Georgia) Petsche Hedrick

I married Greg Wells in 1976 at the base of the spring feed pond outside Stronghold Mansion on Sugarloaf Mountain. He was in a fatal car accident July 21, 1978 three months after our second daughter, Jackie was born.
I was widowed for nine years, living with my girls in Germantown, Md for 5-6 years in Cinnamon Woods. I took a job in McLean at a woman owned firm during the '80's. I bought a home in Reston and married my friend since junior high, George Hedrick, in 1987. We bought a larger home in the same hood to accommodate our girls and four year old son, Mac, in 1994.

Our son & his wonderful wife, Mac & Meghan, just gave us our 5th grandchild. That makes one Granddaughter, Charli (12), growing up in Brooklyn with her bro Mickey (8) & Mom, Jackie Wells. Lyndon (10) is in Reston with his Mom, Leigh Wells. Mac & Meg have Remi (2) & Wells born 4/15/24 living in Alexandria.

Nothing can top this feeling aside from traveling to stay with JV & Susie in Siesta Key, FL along with our awesome friends from Montana, Jeff & Teri Allen!!! We had the time of our lives attending Spring Training, enjoying the local music & restaurant scene PLUS the water/flora & fauna/beach scapes that surround the western shores of Sarasota !!! It was a BLAST! We need a Florida REUNION 4 Sure !!

John Kolius & I were heading back to school after having a fun lunch up on Rockville Pike at the Roy Roger's. I was riding in the passenger seat facing the drivers side window. John was driving, Mr Marco was driving past us in the other direction and looked me right in the eyes. We were busted, but not really. Nothing ever came of it! Mr Marco was/is a cool guy! It would be great if we can get some of the class over to visit with our old Vice Principal, who is in poor health.
