It has to be really tough as parent to lose a child whether they are 6 days old or 63 years old.  For those of us who will be unable to attend his memorial service on December 30th, may I suggest sending his dad and brother a card or note.

This is his dad's address:

Leonard Proctor, Sr.

7801  Jeremy Terrace

Derwood, MD  20855

So sorry to hear the sad news of Leonard's passing! I'm so glad we got to see him at our class reunion and at JV's party. Leonard was always so positive and full of life. He will surely be missed but his memory lives on! My thoughts are with his family and those who knew him.

I am sad to hear of Leonard's passing. Such a fun guy with the Cheerleaders, on our bus and at Mitch and Bill's. Seriously part of my Memory bank. My Best to his family and close friends.

Hey Charlie~

Thanks for posting the article with details of Leonard's Memorial Service on the 30th of December. The Potomac Hunt Club in Dickerson, Md is the place and 10am is the time.

Leonard was my classmate & one of my oldest friend.  At Churchill we shared our homeroom class,  "Petsche, Pinkerton & Price, nothing shaking but the bacon, MomMa don't lie, NOOO Sir!"

"Doctor Proctor" will be missed.

Love you Leonard~

Teddy

I remember Leonard fom all the years we were in school. Always happy, singing, loved to dance. He remind me of singer/dancer James Brown. I know how much he loved his Mom, Dad n brother. So happy that I saw him at John Vigeria's 40th Class Reunion picnic. He looked good, had slimmed down alot. I had gto do a double take, when I saw Richard Holsey because he had gained the weight Leonard had lost. Will miss you Leonard, you will never be forgotten. You are with your Mom again.

I'm very sorry to learn of Leonard's passing. A junior high and high school classmate, that's practically a life time. I used to run into him from time to time being a Derwood resident myself. Always a friendly smile and greeting. The last time I saw him, he and Leonard Sr. came to the Outta The Way Cafe in Derwood in late 2014 when they came out to see Don Owen and I perform. Jr. & Sr. looked like twins (that's a compliment to Sr. by the way) They both looked fantastic. And as always, a friendly smile and greeting....
