Kristen LaFave Parker

I went to LCC right after H.S. and ended up getting a full-time job as a dental receptionist in 1990. I worked there for 5 years and then went back to college at Olivet for Teaching. I graduated in 1998 with a bachelor's degree and teaching certificate in General Ed. English with a Speech minor. I teach spec. ed. now and received certification to teach Cognitive Impaired students from CMU. I'm currently 1 year away from getting a Master's in Teaching from Olivet. I was married in 2005 to Doran Parker and we currently have two boys (Landen and Braylen), and I have an 11 year old son from a previous relationship with Jason Kalczynski. We live in Eaton Rapids and enjoy swimming, playing in the back yard, and watching various cartoons as a family.

I remember sitting in Art Class with Patty Hartnel singing "Hotel California" with Chris Wigent and Jason Wood.
