Marianne Patterson Heaton

I married Joey Amick (CHS 1881) in March 1985. We had 3 kids and we traveled all over. We divorced in 1995.

I remarried for all the wrong reasons and that marriage ended 2007. I am finally with the man I should have always been with.

I have turned my life over to God and am a much happier person than I ever remember being.

I moved to Indiana in 1992 to get away from my ex-husband and ended up staying for 16 years. I finally moved back home, but to Sarasota in 2008.

I have my 4 kids and he has his 2 and together we make a blended family of 15, including the kids' spouses and the grandbabies.

Mike and I live in sarasota with my youngest Beth, who is a sophmore at Riverview and Tina, whose husband is in Iraq.

I remember long rides on the buses to games. I remember band practice. I remember some good times.

I kept to myself and only showed very few people who I really was. I wasn't shy, just quiet. If I didn't know you, I didn't talk to you.

Jimmy Harper,, Jimmy knew all my secrets, thoughts, he was my confidant. He kept me not only in school my senior year when my world was spinning out of control, but kept me alive.

2 days after graduation, Kim Turner, Debbie Thomas and I rented a house and the next month Donna Anderson moved in. Then I got married and we moved away to all over.

I remember some good times my senior year, but mainly I remember the mess I was in because of the accident.
