William D. Addison

Willaim D. "Bill" Addison, age 59 of Plano, Tx passed away peacefully into the arms of his Lord on Saturday, February 12, 2011. He was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Bill was born on August 15, 1951 in Wichita Falls, Tx, to S. Eugene and Dorothy (Willenborg) Addison. He grew up in Wichita Falls, Tx and Quanah, Tx, but his heart and love was at home in red River, New Mexico. He called it "God's Country".

As an avid sports fan, Bill loved his Cowboys and Rangers, found time for fishing and his enthusiasm for music. Bill's greatest love of all was his family that his life centered around. He delighted in coaching his sons through the years and attended every football game from pee-wee football through Plano East Sr. High and onto their respective colleges. He and Susie loved football season. Bill was a member of Woodcreek Church and treasured the fellowship of his Community Group. His great passion was cooking for friends and family at holidays and get-togethers, and many enjoyed his culinary creations.

Bill was preceded in death by his mother and is survived by his father, his sister Cindy and husband Butch Hott of Weatherford Tx, sister Terri Addison of Las Vegas, NV and brother Scott Addison of Albuquerque, NM, as well as numberous nieces and nephews and a host of other family members.

Bill was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his many friends, but most of all by his beloved wife of 34 years, Susie, son Timothy and fiancee Melissa Wolfe of Plano, Tx, and son Christopher of Plano. One of the wonderful things Bill will be most remembered for is that he always left people with a smile, a great legacy to leave this world.
