Rex was a good friend and I had the chance to see he and his wife, Nanette, over the years in New Braunfels. He was always working on a project when I saw him

In high school he had a great since of humor, was a great artist and had a zest for life.

Rex was known for being the editor an chief of the "Rag" paper our senior year. I was his associate. It seemed like a good idea at the time but the next day when we got called into Mr. Jones office prior to lunch the mood quickly changed. Lucky for us there was no contact only a promise not to do it a gain. I really miss that guy.
