Matthew Bruce Olsen passed away on January 25, 2013 in Louisville, Tennessee at the age of 57.  He was born January 2, 1956 in Hayward, CA.  He met his wife Leora in Red Bluff.  They married on November 9, 1985 at the LDS Oakland Temple.  Matt became blind and disabled as a young adult.  He wanted to be a firefighter  and was able to achieve that goal for two years as a seasonal firefighter before he became disabled.  His brother Mark predeceased him as well as four grandchildren whom perished in a house fire.  Matt is survived by his parents Bruce and Gerry Olsen of Red Bluff and his son David Olsen of Sevierville, TN., step daughter Amanda Debuty of TN , sisters Susan Young, Ruth Calbreath and brother Bruce Olsen, and several grandchildren.
