Sheryl Burling Taylor, age 70, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at home.

A visitation will be held from 12 to 1PM with a funeral service beginning at 1PM on Saturday November 29, 2014 at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines with the Rev. David Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Park in Southern Pines.

Sheryl was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard D. Taylor, and her parents, Earl and Joyce Burling. Sheryl is survived by her children, Lynne S. Ligett of Columbia, SC, Robert A. Ligett, Jr. of Chapel Hill, NC, Brian E. Ligett of Wake Forest,NC; a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Robert Kruse of Troy, MI ; and 3 grandchildren.
