I went to Kentucky Christian University following graduation from high school.
I married and I started having babies and stayed home to watch them grow.
I went to work at Waco Elementary School as a "lunch lady" in 1994.
I continued to bounce around in the school systems working as a attendance clerk, substitue teacher, teacher assistant, daycare director, and finally a private school teacher. In 2000, I went back to school, finishing my education. I received an Associates Degree in Early Childhood in 2002, a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 2005 and my Masters' Degree in Special Education in 2007.
I have 9 grandchildren and am looking forward to retirement in a few years.
