Bevin Alexander - class of 72

Was "bussed" by order of the Federal District Court to Maggie Walker H.S., where I attended for a short time before my family moved from the Fan to Henrico County. I graduated from Douglas Freeman H.S. in 1972. Attended and graduated from the University of Virginia in 1976, where I majored in History and Anthropology. Attended and graduated from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 1981. After a clerkship for a Justice on the Virginia Supreme Court in Richmond for a year, I joined a firm in Lynchburg, Virginia. I left that firm in 1993 to help form my present firm: Freeman, Dunn, Alexander, Blah, Blah, etc....I have been engaged in a law practice primarily as a litigator since 1982. I do mostly "high-stakes" litigation for professionals and businesses. Too old to play soccer anymore, for fun I am a Boy Scout leader (did that as a yut also), enjoy shooting sports, and futz with amateur radio stuff with a call sign K4ALE.

I loved TJ and am sorry my tenure was limited to a single school year, 1969-70. I lettered in JV soccer, which started me on a path that led to membership on the U.Va. Men's Varsity Soccer team in 1972-74, and a life-time of love for the sport.
