Joyce Charna Elkin Gropper

I would love to connect with some of my old friends from Richmond as after so many years living in New York and now Florida.. we have lost touch. I understand there is an impending reunion and I hopefully can attend. I attended VCU and graduated in 1976 and hold an MBA from CW Post (Long Island University) Worked in sales and mgt for many years in the Pharmaceutical industry and for the past 7 years built a business.. a high end mobile grooming company.. After so many years I am still really close to Amy Fisher, Marcie Kocen and Robin Plotkin. All I can remember is buying lots of Pappagallo shoes in every color and wearing Tally Ho sweaters in every color. Many of my friends remember that I worked at Butler shoes, Hofheimer shoes and finally Worth clothing store where every penny I earned went towards clothes. Marcie Kocen remembers me having so many shoes in my locker that at the end of the school year, I was too lazy to bring them home so I just ditched them in the sewer near TJ. I wore hard contact lenses in High school and remember the pain of something getting in my eye or them popping out and everyone crawling on the floor trying to find the lense. The love of my life in high school was Bobby Quarles who went to Freeman and played drums in a band. I loved going to the state fair every year and continue to do this but now with my kids instead of my boyfriend(LOL). Ahh such good memories!!
