Currently teach special education in Bossier Parish (9th year) and serve as the Alternate Chief Examiner for the Adult Education Program (GED). I got married to an alien (green card – from England) and then divorced. I worked at Bossier Parish Community College for ten years and completed my degree at LSU-Shreveport. After receiving alternate certification in special education I returned to college and completed my Masters in Educational Leadership at Louisiana Tech. I didn’t stop there – I went back to add Supervision. I have been blessed with a wonderful church family and have been on several mission trips with the youth group ministering to the Navajo children. My dad passed away a couple of years ago and my mom was unable to manage on her own; therefore, she has moved in with me. I love traveling and spent this past Christmas in Hawaii. This summer I went on an Alaskan cruise which gave me an opportunity to spend time with my brother who has been diagnosed with cancer.
