Ah, the life story...I served during Desert Storm with my brothers-in-arms Woody and Harper. You would have been proud of them as they served their country with distinction and played a mean game of Spades to boot.
Louisa and I tied the knot a week prior to my shipping out. Poor thing, she just didn't know what she was getting herself into...but I'm thankful and glad she did. She has been a wonderful mother and wife.
I then went on to finish up a degree in Electrical Engineering at Louisiana Tech, which automatically credits you with a minor in Sleep Deprivation as well. Another notable during this time was my culinary artistry with popcorn, ramen noodles, and hamburger helper. Being a starving college student really makes you feel so alive...
I've worked in the telecom industry ever since, primarily in the realm of fiber optics equipment engineering. While I have not completely succumbed to geekdom, it should be noted that I do however fight the impulse to wear a pocket protector and taped glasses on a daily basis.
I also did my part in the "be fruitful and multiply" gig. I have three awesome kiddos that I am most proud of. Sure am glad I finally figured out what caused that...may have had to change the name to Walton if not.
Sometime during the last 10 years, I fell in love again...this time with a soccer ball. I coach my oldest son's traveling team and my daughter's team. No contract offers from Manchester United or the Brazilian National team yet, but I know they'll be calling real soon ;-)
