Favorite Mercy High School Memory:

My first day arriving on a minibus from Brentwood where I was living with Family friends until my parents house was ready in Port Jefferson Station. We had just moved from Brooklyn and I did not have time to obtain the Mercy HS uniform. So I arrived wearing the uniform of the school I would have attended had we not moved over the summer. There I was wearing a blue blazer with the Emblem "St. Joseph's Commercial HS, Brooklyn, New York. I heard whispers as I stood on the line "I think she is lost".
