School Story:
My best memories of RBHS was playing drums, surfing, crusin' with Donahue, and driving my VW with an 8 track stereo playing some of the best music ever recorded! We weren't allowed to wear jeans or have any hair on our face.. I was sent home for both! I had great teachers, but my mind was elsewhere.. I'll never forget Mr. Batts walking into Algebra class with lizards hanging on his ears! I thought Mrs. Laws was so hot!.. Mrs. Brown made me get through English, and I e-mail her every once in a while to this day!! Really, I do!! The teacher's strike came at a bad time for me.. I was in bed with Mononucleosis the whole time!
We had some great local bands play for dances.. The Villagers, 8th Day, Yesterdays Children, Dry Rain, Purple Underground, These Visitors... I remember being hauled off to jail with Danny Howard for drag racing down US-1 after the graduation dance at the rec hall.. We somehow charmed our way outta that one! RBHS was a wonderful part of my life!! Looking forward to seeing you all this summer!!
