After graduation I went to work for Bank of Virginia (now Wachovia) where I worked for 14 1/2 years. In 1993 I opened my own business where I made custom flags and quillows for several colleges and universities. I currently work for Roanoke City Schools as a paraprofessional at Grandin Court Elementary. I teach 2 & 3 year old children with special needs. Anywhere from Autism to Down Syndrome, many with physical disabilities, but all very precious and definitely a BLESSING TO ME!!
I met my husband while working at the bank and we married in 1985. God has blessed us with 2 wonderful sons. Timmy turns 20 in October(he and his dad share the same birthday, that took alot of doing!!)Timmy is majoring in criminal justice and wants to work for a local sheriffs department. Aaron is our baby, he turns 15 in April and is a freshman at Patrick Henry. He just made the baseball team, where he catches, pitches and plays 3rd base.
