Robert Giles

I'm currently a retired stay at home dad. In the past (among other things) I got kicked out of a baptist college for drinking, finished my degree in comparative religion at Radford, joined the Navy but served with the Marines (Infantry and Tanks) (Marines don't do their own religion, medical or dental..these are supplied by the Navy), traveled to Thailand, Hong Kong, and Okinawa, met my wife, Peggy, in CA, had three wonderful boys, went back to Radford for a teaching credential, moved to Reno then Las Vegas, went hiking and fell off a cliff (and survived to tell about it), taught 5th grade for awhile, quit, worked in medical imaging for awhile, and now live about 15 min from the beach in NC and do housework. And goof off. They also found out that I have bipolar (like so many others these days) which contributed to many of the crazy things I used to do...like get close enough to Area 51 to have a helicopter hovering overhead. crazy, huh?
