John Hugh Drum

Drum, John Hugh Born February 19, 1946 to Francis and Mary Drum in Superior, WI. John passed peacefully with his family by his side on August 31. John was raised in Robbinsdale, MN where he graduated high school in 1964. He was a world class ski jumper and flyer, attended the U of M in Minneapolis, and was a Marine who served in Vietnam. He married Cynthia Olson and had two children, Angela and Jason. He resided in Ideal Township and most recently in Homosassa, FL with his dear friend Margo Schifsky. Preceded in death by his father, Francis. Survived by his mother, Mary; sister, Virginia (Fred); children, Angie and Jason (Colleen); grandchildren, Savannah, Bruen, and Drake. Please join us to celebrate John's life, memorial services will be 2PM on Sunday, Sept. 8, at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Private family interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes.
