I remember the day Jack got his first motorcycle, a 200cc Triumph Cub. He brought it over to show me, then we took our motorcycles for a ride down Highway 100 to Edina. I don't know why we went to Edina but that's where he wanted to go.
Another memory is of a ride in the Buick he had. He knew of a road going to Hopkins that had three rises and between each was a dip. He had the Buick airborne all three times, very memorable.
A great guy.

Hey Leland, old friend, that 200cc Triumph Cub motorcycle was actually mine. I let Jack borrow it for that day cause he loaned me his Buick! It was shortly after that he went out and bought a new 250cc Honda Scrambler! We had many great rides together until I transferred from the 'U' of Minn. to Mankato State. "Good Times" eh!!!
