I sit here wondering how to sound witty (okay at least not boring) because this group (anyone reading this) helped form who I am today. Thank you to each and every one of you - even if I didn't know you well, for my time at Northwestern was mostly a joy and prepared me to move on. I am truly blessed and have lived a full life.
After a BS in Chem E ('83) at Clemson, I joined the Navy and flew fighters. Luckily, after 12 years in the Navy, I was able to exit and get hired at Fedex, where I fly as a commercial pilot. Between the Navy and Fedex, I have traveled a lot. During my off time, I run a small cattle farm in Tennessee.
My kids are almost grown, my back hurts, and I every so often get a case of CRS (can't remember sxxx), so I guess I feel older; but it does just seem like yesterday that I was walking the halls of NWHS.
