Was called home into the arms of his Savior on Wednesday, August 17th, 2011, at 9:20 am., with his loving father by his side. Steve was born on May 9, 1955, in Roseburg, Oregon, at Douglas Community Hospital to Wally and Connie Hunnicut. Steve had two siblings, Greg and Tom Hunnicut. After graduating in 1973 from Roseburg High School, Steve attended Willamette University where he played football and track.  Soon after college, Steve was married to Michele Madson and pursued a career at Umpqua Dairy. Steve and Michele have two children, son, Brian and daughter, Jennifer Standley. Steve enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Madison, Danner, Boone, Chase and Aiden. Steve also loved his dog, Nikki. Services will be held at Redeemer's Church, Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Redeemers Youth Group. A special thanks to Steve's mother and father for all their love and support.
