Debbie Quigley Green

I've worked at a hotel as front desk clerk, administrative assistant and sales and catering. Then Brockway Glass Co., but I found my real passion and purpose in life when I started working with mentally challenged adults. I started at a group home to get the 2 years experience I needed to work at Lifeworks Inc. which I worked for 28 1/2 years. I actually stayed at that group home working part time for 5 years. I retired from Lifeworks in January of 2017 and am now working part time as a PCA for a gentleman with Down Syndrome.
I've been married to my husband (3rd, their loss not mine) for 25 years. We do a lot of camping in the summer and as soon as my husband decides to retire we'll really travel. Hopefully will still have some good years ahead of us.

I was known to the teachers as the girl with the green girdle. For St. Paddy's Day I had dyed everything green and on this particular day I was wearing it of course and I thought it would be a good idea to slither out of my desk chair in Miss Wimmers class and crawl out the door to go have a cigarette. After my successful escape, I needed to get back in, so I so slowly got down on all fours and decided to try and slither back in, but rather unluckily, there was a teacher right behind me. He said "what are you doing?" to which I said, "I needed to go to the bathroom." He said "next time just ask and do it the right way." He was smirking and I know he went right to the teachers lounge and told everybody, because I heard that green girdle story more than once that school year. (Snitch)
