I have been living in Manitowoc since 1988 (I can't believe I've lived here 20 years!) when I started teaching at Bethany Lutheran School. Since 2003 I've worked at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum, where I'm in charge of all the educational programs. Steve and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary this summer! Both of my lovely step-daughters are married and we even have a granddaughter named Lauren who was born in 2005 and another due in February. I am still an avid runner and, along with Steve, spend as much time outdoors as possible. We have a cabin Steve and his brother built near Eagle River, WI which we love. I also travel anywhere whenever I get the chance, so life so far has been very fun and full of great memories. |

Oh, wow, just living in a dorm as a high school student is an adventure to remember. Running countless 100s and 200s on Hardin Street while the softball players stood in the outfield and laughed is a good memory. I seem to recall junior year English with Prof. Fredrich being filled with anti-Soviet Union movie watching (Dr. Strangelove and On the Beach). Does anyone else remember that? |
