My family and I live our lives to serve God. My wife and I are Board members of a soup kitchen and homeless shelter. I was a alcoholic , but by the grace of God I was delivered. In 1999 my wife divorced me and for the next 2 years I lived on the streets of Saginaw drinking a gallon of vodka a day; sleeping in the woods and parks, stealing from my mother an sister to pay for my addiction. Tried 12 re-habs in those few years , didn't see my daughter at all. Came to a point where I had no where else to go. The state of Michigan said no more re-haps. I've been through some very bad situations, in very dark places where I should of died. I was desperate for food ,went to a church block party, I ate ;and there was a group from Teen Challenge, I listen to their stories ,what God done in their lives. To end this I did 14 months in teen challenge and through prayer he re-stored my marriage and my relationship with my mother and sister. My wife re-married me after being divorced for nearly 3 years and didn't see me once in those 3 years. God is great and now I serve him doing jail and prison ministry and creating work for guys and women getting out of prison. www.hishandshomeservices.org God Bless Rev. Jon
